- Pack Story -

[Sparrow]

(((Here is the first chapter of the pack story.. yeah I know, not the best. And thats ok with me. I'm not focused on it being the best but more on being funny.)))

Chapter 1- Land Unknown

A warm breeze blew threw the branches of the tall forest trees. A small group of wolves walked along a deer path. With hopefull looks and hungry bellies they traveled on. A brown wolf lead them down a grassy slope to a small meadow. The wolf stopped at the tree line and looked back at them. "We have come far, but I'm not sure if any packs own this land already.. It seems rich with prey, I see no reason why another pack wouldn't be here already. But our hun-" She was interupted by a grey male.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah Sparrow. Enough with your speach. Lets just eat. I'm soooo hungry!" He lifted his muzzle into the air and sniffed. He grinned and looked back at Sparrow. "And I smell elk!"
Sparrow rolled her eyes. "Fine we'll hunt.. but please try and keep your belly from talking Shinhan.." She turned and trotted out onto the meadow and was followed by the others. Shinhan's jaw dropped and he stood there for a moment before shaking his head and narrowing his eyes.
"Oh shush!" He glanced around quickly then kneaded his paws on the ground. "Hey, wait for me!" Shinhan rushed up to them.
A red male looked back at Shinhan. "Quiet, or do you want us all to go hungry again?"
Shinhan rolled his eyes but remained silent. Sparrow continued walking threw the tall green grass but shortly stopped once she spotted the herd of elk. She squinted as a gust of wind blew threw her fur, carrying dirt along with it. She growled lowly and looked away until the wind died down.
A tan and white wolf bounded up to her. "Wow, I haven't seen elk in days!"
Sparrow rolled her eyes. "Yes, none of us have Reika. Ok, lets try and get that old cow over there off to the side. She seems to be grazing farther and farther from the herd."
Reika nodded. "So what do I do?"
Sparrow shook her head. "Go hide in the grass over there, take Shinhan with you. Ralf and I will chase the prey there." Reika nodded and called for Shinhan. The two of them quickly bounded off to their hiding places.
Sparrow looked over at Ralf and winced at another gust of wind. "Are you ready?" Ralf nodded and the two of them crouched down and stalked closer to the cow. Once they were within a few yards they sprang out and ran at the unsuspecting elk. It stopped grazing and took off running towards where Reika and Shinhan were hiding. As it ran it's hooves kicked up dirt which flew into Sparrow's eyes. She growled and moved to the cow's side. She snapped and bit down hard on it's back leg. Shinhan and Reika ran from their hiding place and attacked the cow's sides. Ralf jumped up and bit down onto it's neck. The cow gave a loud call before falling to the ground dead. Sparrow smiled and looked at her pack mates. "Great job guys!"
Shinhan wagged his tail. "Food!!" He shouted as he began tearing into the animals stomach. Ralf rolled his eyes and tore some meat off and began eating. Reika and Sparrow soon followed and took their share while Shinhan gobbled down his. Sparrow laid down with her meat and began eating. She closed her eyes at another strong gust of wind and looked down at her dirt covered meat. She frowned but took a few more bites. As the others finished their shares Sparrow sat up and looked around. Noticing a small stream by the tree line she smiled.
"Come on guys!" She got up and ran towards the creek with Reika and Ralf close behind her.
Shinhan stood there, he looked at them then at the meat and back at them again. "But... but guys! What about the food?"
"We can always hunt more later!" Shouted Ralf over his shoulder. Shinhan frowned than trotted after them.
As Sparrow reached the creek she lapped up the cold clear water. Reika let the others drink before her. She glanced around then went and sat at the edge of the trees. She scanned the meadow and gasped at what she saw. She looked back over her shoulder at the others. "Uh... guys? I don't think we're alone..."

[Shinhan]

lol Shinhan really likes food.

Lol, well I thought you would be the one to act funny and such. If you want me to change that I will. And no worries all the other members I haven't mentioned will be included in the story! Just your not in it yet xD

Chapter 2- Strangers

Sparrow got up and quickly trotted over to Reika's side. She looked out onto the meadow and noticed another small group of wolves out there checking out the elk they had killed moments earlier. Ralf came over to them and snarled lowly. "They've got our scent... and if they haven't then they will soon.." He looked over Sparrow questionly. Sparrow perked her ears as she saw the wolves talking amoung themselves. She narrowed her eyes and observed them.

A white female with a black tip on her tail looked up at a golden brown wolf standing next to her. "What do you make of it Padfoot?" she asked tentively. She glanced down at the elk. A gust of wind brought dirt and whipped it into her eyes. The female snarled "Do you mind?!"
Padfoot looked at her. "What do I make of it? I dunno... it's food. Don't you know that Sunclaw?" He said teasingly.
Sunclaw rolled her eyes. "Whatever.."
A pure black wolf walked up to them and sniffed the dead elk. She snorted at the stench and looked at Padfoot. "It was killed recently.. by wolves. And it has their scent on it." She rolled her eyes then scanned the meadow.
Padfoot looked away and mocked her as she spoke. The female looked sharply at him. "What did you say?!"
Padfoot glanced around. "I said nothing! Nothing at all Midnight!"
Midnight rolled her eyes. "Yeah well just don't do it again." she warned, giving him a hard look.
"What's going on?" asked a white female wolf walking up to them. A blue necklace with a moon pendant on it swang back and forth as she neared them. It glowed in the sunlight, showing off it's beauty.
Padfoot looked over at her. "Hey Blitz! Not much, but we have signs that another wolf pack may be here."
Blitz's eyes opened wide. Midnight turned around and glared at Padfoot. "Might?! Their scent is all over the elk! There is no might, we know they are here." She rolled her eyes then went back to watching the meadow.
Padfoot stuck his tongue out at Midnight. Sunclaw noticed it and knocked him over when Midnight looked his way. Paddie yelped. "Ow! You made me bite my tongue!" Padfoot said with a hint of humor.
Sunclaw rolled her eyes. It was either that or let Midnight notice your tongue."
Blitz looked at them. "Well we don't own this land... so I don't see why you seem so mad about it Midnight... Maybe we could join with them!"
Midnight looked over her shoulder at Blitz. They'll just put us at the bottom of the heirarchy. No.."
Midnight took one last look at the tree line. She growled and stood up snarling. "I think I've spotted our invadors."

Sunclaw rolled her eyes. "It was either that or let Midnight notice your tongue."

Exactly what I would do! Keep up the good work.

Chapter 3- Trouble

Sparrow was startled when the strange wolves started coming their way. "Run! Escape! Do something?!" She shouted.
Sparrow took off running deeper into the forest followed by Ralf. Shinhan nodded at Sparrow's words. "Ok" he said trotting back over to the creek.
Reika started to follow Sparrow and Ralf but noticed Shinhan by the creek. She rolled her eyes and ran over to him quickly. "No you talking stomach! Follow Sparrow and Ralf!" She shouted at him while she pushed him in the right direction.
"Ok, ok, don't got to be so pushy!" Shinhan ran off towards Sparrow and Ralf.

Midnight lead the group into the woods. She stopped when she came to the stream. "They're gone... She lookef around then npticed their tracks on the other side of the stream. She grinned then looked at Paddie, Blitz, and Sunclaw. "Follow the tracks!" She shouted. She lead them off in chase after the others.

Sparrow came sliding to a stop at the edge of a cliff. She turned around heard the sound of the strange wolves approaching them. She looked over at Ralf. "We're trapped!"
Shinhan around Ralf at Sparrow. "Not really. We could always jump off the cliff."
Sparrow tilted her head. "But then we would be dead!?.."
Shinhan frowned. "So... it's fun!"
Sparrow shook her head clear of any thought about jumping off a cliff, let alone having fun doing it.

Midnight walked threw the pushes to stand a few feet in front of the strange wolves. "Who are you and what are you doing on our land?!" She demanded.
Blitz and the others came to a stop behind Midnight. Blitz prodded Midnight's side and whispered in her ear. "But this isn't our land..."
Midnight looked sharply at Blitz. "Shush! They don't know that!"

Sparrow looked at Midnight. We're doomed.. she thought.


(((Yes I know it's a short chapter but, oh well I couldn't think of much to put into it.)))

yep that's me alright! nice work sparrow! keep it up! (yes I would love to see some but kicking in the next chapter. =] )

Hey, if anyone is going to be in charge of the butt-kicking, it would be me. Anyways, I doubt Sparrow will have anyone kick anyone's butt in the next chapter. But I will stop guessing so I don't ruin anything (not that I know anything, but I don't want to get any ideas...) I think I said this already, but love your stories, Sparrow.

Lol I see you guys are on the topic of butt-kicking xD Well I want the story to be funny. And if I made it only funy then it would/may get boring over time so I'm not 100% sure there is going to be buttkicking in the next chapter. But there will be some more often as the story goes on. I'm not sure I will be posting the next chapter in the next few days because of the fact that I'm not feeling all that great. But if it helps there will be butt-kicking in the story, but you'll have to wait until the next chapter is posted to find out if there is any in it. Hope this makes sense ^.^

Yeah... I am feeling better right now though but I'm going to wait for tomorrow to or so to put the next chapter up. It's getting late and I'm starting to get tired.

Ahhhh the wait is killing me xD

Sparrow narrowed her eyes at Midnight and held her head up. "We are just passing threw! Is there a problem with that?!"

Midnight took her eyes off Blitz and looked sternly at Sparrow. "Yes, quite frankly there is. Why don't you go back to where you ame from and go around!?" She said, curling her lips back in a snarl.

Sparrow could feel the tense atmosphere. She swallowed her fear and took a step towards Midnight. "Thats nonsense! The only thing around here is a human city! We can't just walk right threw that!"

Midnight looked at Sparow questioningly. "Then why not just leave all together!" She barked then leaped ontop of Sparrow, biting down on her neck.

Sparrow growled and clawed at MIdnight's face while Ralf tried to pull her off. Shinhan and Reika stood infront of them, keeping the others away from Ralf and Sparrow. When Ralf finally got Midnight off Sparrow she had already made a deep gash in Sparrow's neck. Ralf growled. "Back off!"
Shinhan pushed Midnight back over to where Blitz, Paddie, and Sunclaw were standing, all in total shock at what Midnight had done.

Midnight stood up weakly and glared at Ralf. "Then next time she better watch her mouth!" She turned her gaze towards Sparrow. MIdnight turned around to face her small group. "Come on, lets go." She trotted off without waiting for a response from them. They all, getting over the shock, follwed her.

Reika watched them until they were out of site then looked down at Sparrow who hadn't moved from where Midnight had pinned her down. "You alright?"
Sparrow got up and nodded slowly. "Yeah, I'll be fine.." She shook her fur then sighed. "We better get going, who knows if or when they may come back."
Sparrow got up and lead them all off in search of new territory.


(((Yeah I know, boring chapter with a bad ending..... I got some fighting in... hope it'll hold you guys off for a while. But no worries, another obstacle is coming soon. So more fighting then, and such )))

It was not boring! That was pretty good, Sparrow. Lots of action for the length of the chapter...
