"c'mon Blitz you know I'm right!" Paddfoot ran off and followed Duskfang's scent back to his cliff. Paddfoot found him unconscious, "Duskfang...are you there?...no?...oh no"Paddfoot waits for Blitz to ask her what to do."

Duskfang felt featherless. He felt no more pain suddenlly, then He thought. Goodbye...
But something pulled back. He heard something..Was it 2 wolves? Duskfang wondered. He tried speaking.. But he only got to say a weak Who....who are you? Before passing out again.

"ok you pick him up. I don't want to know if he's dead or not." Blitz told Paddie. "besides you have more in commen with him. You both have an insain half." BLitz said. But she knew it was not the time to joke around. Duskfang needed help. Or even worse medical attention. (or he is dead.) "b-blitz and Paddie we want to help." BLitz said.

Blitz.Paddie. Friends. Duskfang started waking up. but tried not to move. He realized how close he was to death, but he resigned. "Th-hank-you. But I'm...A-a-afraid Its....too late....for me... Thanks..for trying, Paddie, and....Blitz." He resigned himself to the fate he knew would come

"Help me get him on my back.........ahh he's heavy." Paddfoot struggled slightly under the weight but he was still able to walk. He started heading back to the den, momentarily stopping to show Blitz where he hid his fish from earlier.

Paddfoot dropped Duskfang inside the den. The pups came out to greet Paddfoot as they thought something was going on.
"Nows not the time for playing pups" said Paddfoot, "But I have a really important job that I need you to do. If he wakes up I want you all to make as much noise as you can." The pups nodded and sat around Duskfangs face.

Duskfang woke up. The world was fuzzy. He started to see Paddie and Blitz.
His Throat was dry. "B-blitz? What's going on? Am I dead? Are You dead? Is this heaven? wait, howd you die?" He glanced at Paddie "How did you die? Oh come on, why did everyone died? Oh my god.... Did I kill all of you!?? Even the pups?!? I am so sorry, I didn't mean to kill you al, I-"
Duskfang kept apologizing profusely.

QUick, Duskfang....eat this. this should give you some energy to help you." Paddfoot drops the fish infront of Duskfang.
"Now if you'll excuse me I need to go be a parent." Paddfoot walked over to the back of the den and fell asleep.

"its not supposed to cure a dry thoat, its supposed to stop him from dying..." Paddfoot curled up tighter as Twilight curled up next to him.

Duskfang gobbles down the fish. "Thanks Paddie" Duskfang says, and stares at Blitz. "Uh, Blitz, thanks for, you know, saving my hide and all of that, and... Also, I;m sorry I yelled at you back in the tunnels."
Duskfang had to admitt it was easier apologizing to someone who had saved his life than to someone that had tried to end this.

Sunclaw jumped down from the tree, knowing the identity of her persuer.
So I guess I'll stay away from Duskfang.
You know, for the same reason I'm running from Darkstream. she thought, washing the mud off.
She trotted to a cave that she saw. "H-hello?" she heard her voice echo back. Nope, no ones inside, she thought, walking in and laying down. She quickly fell asleep.

Paddfoot nodded and he decided to explore the territory for threats since Duskfang was sleeping. He explored up to the border and slightly beyond it seeing if he could find anything.
