Duskfang crept up the den.
He picked up the sleeping Nyru and carried her.
He put her down gently.
"Here she is." He whispered.
He stood still, getting ready to protect her in case Sunawa tried to hurt her.

Sunawa grinned broadly."Nyru...."She said softly.She walked up to her,sitting in front of her.She nudged her with her muzzle,trying to wake her up.

"Who are you, and where's Blitz?" she said.

Duskfang sighed. This was getting nowhere. "That's enough for one day. Nyru needs her sleep. And It's getting dark outside." He said and began to carry her back to the den.
"C'mon, you too." he added.

She nodded.She took Nyru by the scruff from Duskfang."She's my daughter.I'll carry her."She starts to walk back.

"Ew she smells weird." Nyru said.
"That's because she's new. You'll soon get used to her scent." Duskfang said.
"Now relax and go to sleep." He continued.

Sunawa sighs.She lays down Nyru down in the den.She licks her on top of the head.She curls around her."I'm never losing you again...."She says softly in a whisper to Nyru.

Duskfang stared at Nyru, then Sunawa, and then began thinking.
Suddenly, one thought pierced his mind, and it filled his heart with fear.
Blitz is going to have a heart attack when she hears this...where is Blitz anyway? he thought, looking around.

Sunawa opened her eyes slowly.She looked and saw Nyru still laying in the little circle that Sunawa was curled up in.She nudged her with her muzzle."Nyru....Nyru.Wake up."
